Welcome to Happy Note Preschool!

At Happy Note Preschool we provide a high quality music education program which offers the opportunity for your child to enhance early childhood experiences before the Kindergarten year. This is provided in the following ways by focusing on:

• Rhythm - offering early reading skills
• Melody - offering early writing skills
• Form - offering early words and word phrase, sentence, and paragraph recognition and organization
• Expression - offering early speech and language skills
• Related Arts - offering academic awareness (early math skills as well as shape and color recognition), cooperation, reasoning, logic, following directions and staying on task

Each student will be encouraged to have fair play skills, respect for self and others, several work skills that deem cooperation and imagination/repetition play and work skills. It is our goal that each child will have "Fun” learning so that they will feel they are a very “Special” part of Happy Note Preschool.

Pearl Douglas owns and operates Happy Note Preschool. She is known as Mrs. Pearl to her students and their families. Mrs. Pearl is a wife, mother and grandmother. She received her Bachelor Degree in Music Education from USM in 1989. Mrs. Pearl taught music education in SAD #15 before opening her preschool in 1990.
